What is the maximum cable pulling capacity of your winch machines?+
Our fleet offers two capacity levels. The Jakob Thaler KE-SP 3050 provides up to 50 kN (5 tonnes) of pulling force at speeds of 0–40 m/min, suitable for most 33kV–132kV cable projects. The 15T Hydraulic Capstan Winch delivers up to 15 tonnes headline capacity (10T pulling load) for heavy 220kV–400kV EHV cable installations.
Do you provide an operator with the winch machine hire?+
Yes. All KVPE winch machine hires include a trained KVPE technician/operator. Operating HV cable pulling equipment requires knowledge of cable bend radius, tension limits, and site safety — our operators bring 40+ years of KVPE field experience. Labour charges are quoted separately based on project duration and location.
Is winch machine hire available across India or only in Delhi NCR?+
KVPE is based in Delhi NCR but deploys equipment pan India. Mobilisation to remote or out-of-state locations is possible — transportation and logistics costs are quoted separately based on distance and route requirements. WhatsApp us with your project location for availability confirmation.
What ancillary equipment is available with the winch hire?+
Ancillary cable laying equipment including cable drum jacks, drum shafts, straight rollers, and corner/bend rollers can be provided alongside the winch hire. These are quoted separately and availability should be confirmed at the time of enquiry.
